The Car Show Bloody Mary

This weekend was the 27th annual Solvang Datsun Roadster Show – yes I own a 1966 Datsun Roadster and yes the show was in Solvang, California. Whenever I spend the day at the car show, I always like to start off the morning with Bloody Mary’s. Somehow they just make THE perfect car show morning cocktail. To me, Bloody Mary’s are like Pizza – there are good ones and great ones, but no bad ones. On this day, I used a couple of products distributed by the Gallo Wine Company to make some tasty red juice.

First, I used UV Sriracha-infused vodka. Although its only 30% alcohol, it has a really nice flavor. For mix, we used Zing Zang bloody mary mix – has a nice tart vinegar blend with some nice salty spices. Here’s the list:

UV Sriracha Vodka

Zing Zang bloody mary mix

Red Solo Cup

Dash of Worcestershire sauce

Dash of your hot sauce of choice (Tabasco, Cholula, Sriracha etc.)

Squeeze of lime

Grind of black pepper

Celery stick

Stir and drink…

Needless to say, it was a GREAT car show!
